Nut Free Pesto
This nut free pesto also happens to be vegan. It's perfect on pasta or pizza.

- 1 cup tightly packed fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1 1/2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Add fresh basil, olive oil, pumpkin seeds, nutritional yeast, garlic, salt and pepper to a food processor or blender.
Process/blend until smooth.
Makes slightly less than 1 cup of nut free pesto.
