Refined Sugar Free Hot Cocoa

- 1 1/2 teaspoons cocoa powder
- 2 1/2 teaspoons date paste (see my date paste recipe for instructions)
- 1 tablespoon boiling water
- 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk
Add the cocoa powder and boiling water to a pot on the stove or a microwave safe bowl and stir until the cocoa powder is dissolved.
Add the date paste, vanilla extract and milk and heat until your desired temperature is reached, either on the stovetop or in the microwave.
Makes 1 serving of refined sugar free hot chocolate so scale this recipe up or down as needed.
