- 8 ounces dried noodles (approximately 0.5 pounds or 226 grams)
- 1/4 cup smooth almond butter
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or substitute tamari)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (or substitute 1 teaspoon chopped garlic)
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds (optional)
Begin to cook 8 ounces dried noodles according to the instructions on the package.
While the noodles are cooking, add 1/4 cup smooth almond butter, 1/4 cup water, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, and (optional) 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes to a bowl.
Use a whisk to mix until smooth.
When the noodles are finished cooking, drain them, then toss with the almond butter sauce.
Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving, if desired.
