- 2 cups roughly chopped oranges (don’t peel them!)
- 1/2 cup room temperature water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups chopped dark chocolate (approximately 9 oz)
Add 2 cups roughly chopped oranges, 1/2 cup room temperature water, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1/4 teaspoon salt to a high-powered blender.
Blend until smooth.
Melt 1 1/2 cups chopped dark chocolate using your preferred method:Stovetop: Add the chopped dark chocolate to a pan over low heat. Stir constantly until just melted, then remove from the heat. Microwave: Heat in 20-second bursts, stirring between each, until melted. Transfer the melted chocolate to the blender, then blend until smooth (make sure that no chunks of orange peel remain).
Transfer the mixture to a bowl or container, then chill for at least 1 hour, or until thickened to a mousse-like consistency.
