Ingredients

  • 1 medium apple
  • 1 date (optional — for extra sweetness)
  • 1 cup unsweetened milk of choice (I used soy milk)
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened protein powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Roughly chop 1 medium apple, removing the core, then add it to a blender.
  • Remove the pit from 1 date, then add it to the blender.
  • Add 1 cup unsweetened milk of choice, 3 tablespoons unsweetened protein powder, and 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon to the blender.
  • Blend until smooth.

Notes

  • Store this smoothie in the fridge for up to three days. Stir immediately before serving.
