- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup unsweetened plant-based milk
- 1/2 cup drained and rinsed canned black beans (or substitute cooked dried black beans)
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Break 1 ripe banana into pieces, then add it to a blender.
Add 1 cup unsweetened plant-based milk, 1/2 cup drained and rinsed canned black beans, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, and 1 tablespoon maple syrup to the blender.
Blend until smooth.
Enjoy right away or store this smoothie in the fridge for up to three days, then stir before serving.
