- 3/4 cup fresh cherries, pitted and stems removed (or substitute thawed frozen cherries with the liquid drained)
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh basil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Add 3/4 cup fresh cherries, pitted and stems removed, 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil, 1/4 cup red wine vinegar, 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh basil, and 1/4 teaspoon salt to a food processor or blender.
Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides of the blender or food processor if necessary.
Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days.
