Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 1 teaspoon chlorella powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped apple (or substitute any type of berries or chopped fruit)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 small pinch of sea salt (optional)
  • 1 cup unsweetened milk of choice

Instructions

  • Peel 1 banana, break it into pieces, then add it to a blender.
  • Add 1 teaspoon chlorella powder, 1/2 cup chopped apple, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 small pinch of sea salt, and 1 cup unsweetened milk of choice to the blender.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Enjoy this smoothie right away or store it in the fridge for up to three days, then stir immediately before serving.

Notes

  • For the best digestibility, choose “broken cell wall” chlorella powder.
