- 1 cup chopped dark chocolate (or substitute chocolate chips or any type of chopped chocolate you prefer)
- 3/4 cup toasted hazelnuts
- Optional topping: sea salt
Add 1 cup chopped dark chocolate to a pot on the stove set to low heat.
Cook until the chocolate has melted, stirring constantly, then immediately remove the pot from the heat.
Add 3/4 cup toasted hazelnuts to the pot of melted chocolate, then gently stir, ensuring that the hazelnuts are completely coated in chocolate.
Use a fork to pick up 3-4 chocolate-coated hazelnuts and place them in a cluster on a sheet pan or large plate lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Immediately add a small pinch of sea salt on top, if desired.
Repeat steps 4-5 with the remaining hazelnuts.
Place the sheet pan or plate of chocolate hazelnuts in the fridge to harden for at least one hour before serving.
