- 3/4 cup chopped dark chocolate
- the zest of one clementine orange (or any type of orange zest you prefer)
- 3 clementine oranges (or any type of orange you prefer)
Melt 3/4 cup chopped dark chocolate using your preferred method: Stovetop: Add the chopped chocolate to a pan over low heat. Stir constantly until just melted, then remove from the heat. Microwave: Heat in 20-second bursts, stirring between each, until melted. Transfer the melted chocolate to a small bowl.
Use a grater or zester to remove the zest of one clementine orange, then reserve.
Peel 3 clementine oranges and gently pull the segments apart to separate them.
Dip an orange segment halfway in melted chocolate, place it on a plate lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat, then immediately sprinkle on a pinch of orange zest.
Repeat with the rest of the orange segments.
Place the plate of chocolate oranges in the fridge to harden for at least 45 minutes before serving.
