Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups unsweetened milk of choice
  • 1/2 cup ground flaxseed
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (or substitute a sugar-free liquid sweetener such as monk fruit, to taste, and increase the milk by 1 tablespoon)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Add 1 1/4 cups unsweetened milk of choice, 1/2 cup ground flaxseed, 1/4 cup cocoa powder, 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1/8 teaspoon salt to a blender.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Transfer to a bowl, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  • Stir before serving.

Notes

  • Store in the fridge for up to three days.
