Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped pineapple
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 date (optional for added sweetness)
  • 1 small pinch of sea salt
  • 1 cup unsweetened milk of choice

Instructions

  • Remove the pit from 1 date, then add it to a blender.
  • Add 1 cup chopped pineapple, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, 1 small pinch of sea salt, and 1 cup unsweetened milk of choice to the blender.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Enjoy this smoothie right away or store it in the fridge for up to three days, then stir immediately before serving.

Notes

  • I prefer to use fresh pineapple when making this smoothie, but frozen or drained canned pineapple works too.
