Ingredients

  • 2 Medjool dates (or substitute any type of date you prefer)
  • 1/3 cup baked sweet potato (with skin removed)
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 cup unsweetened milk of choice (I used almond milk)
  • 2 tablespoons cold water

Instructions

  • Remove the pits from 2 Medjool dates, then add them to a blender.
  • Add 1/3 cup baked sweet potato, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, 1 cup unsweetened milk of choice, and 2 tablespoons cold water to the blender.
  • Blend until smooth.

Notes

  • Store this smoothie in the fridge for up to three days, then stir immediately before serving.
