Frozen Kale Smoothie Recipe

This frozen kale smoothie is sweet, creamy, and delicious. I love using frozen kale in smoothies because there's no washing or chopping involved. It's so easy!

Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped frozen kale
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 kiwi (or substitute 1/4 cup roughly chopped apple, pineapple, or any other fruit you prefer)
  • 1 Medjool date (optional for extra sweetness)
  • 1 cup unsweetened milk of choice (my favorites are soy milk, almond milk, and oat milk)

Instructions

  • Add 1 cup chopped frozen kale to a blender.
  • Peel 1 medium banana, break it into pieces, and add it to the blender.
  • Cut 1 kiwi in half, then use a spoon to scoop out the flesh and add it to the blender.

  • Add 1 cup unsweetened milk of choice, then blend until smooth.

Notes

  • Serve right away or store this smoothie in the fridge for up to three days, then stir before serving.
