- 2 cups garlic cloves, peeled
- 2 cups extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary or 2 sprigs fresh rosemary (or substitute thyme, oregano, or basil)
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
Add 2 cups garlic cloves, peeled, 2 cups extra virgin olive oil, and 1 teaspoon dried rosemary or 2 sprigs fresh rosemary to an eight inch baking dish.
Bake for one hour and fifteen minutes or until the garlic cloves are golden brown.
Use a slotted spoon to remove the garlic cloves from the oil and transfer them to a bowl for serving.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
- Optional additions: add a pinch of crushed red chili flakes, if desired.
