Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients

  • 2 pitted dates
  • 1 cup unsweetened milk of choice
  • 2 tablespoons creamy natural peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (optional, see notes)

Instructions

  • Add 2 pitted dates, 1 cup unsweetened milk of choice, 2 tablespoons creamy natural peanut butter, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, and 1/4 teaspoon sea salt to a blender.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Enjoy right away, or store in the fridge for up to three days. Stir before serving.

Notes

  • I recommend using creamy natural peanut butter, which is usually unsalted. If your peanut butter does contain added salt, omit or reduce the sea salt to taste.
