- 1 medium banana
- 1 teaspoon spirulina powder
- 1/2 cup chopped apple (or substitute any type of berries or chopped fruit you prefer)
- 1 cup unsweetened milk of choice
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (or substitute 1 tablespoon cocoa powder for a chocolate version)
Peel 1 medium banana, break it into pieces, then add it to a blender.
Add 1 teaspoon spirulina powder, 1/2 cup chopped apple, 1 cup unsweetened milk of choice, and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract to the blender.
Blend until smooth.
Enjoy this smoothie right away or store it in the fridge for up to three days, then stir immediately before serving.
- I used green spirulina powder in this smoothie, but blue works too.
