Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 Medjool dates (or substitute any type of date you prefer)
  • 1 cup unsweetened milk of choice (I used soy milk)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  • Add 1 cup strawberries to a blender.
  • Remove the pits from 2 Medjool dates and add them to the blender.
  • Add 1 cup unsweetened milk of choice and optional 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract to the blender.
  • Blend until smooth.

Notes

  • Store this smoothie in the fridge for up to three days. Stir immediately before serving.
  • For a lower sugar version of this smoothie, use one date instead of two.
