- 1 date (optional for added sweetness)
- the juice and zest of 1/2 a lime
- 1 cup chopped watermelon
- 1 cup unsweetened milk of choice (I used soy milk)
- 1 small pinch of sea salt (optional)
Remove the pit from 1 date, then add it to a blender.
Add the juice and zest of 1/2 a lime, 1 cup chopped watermelon, 1 cup unsweetened milk of choice, and 1 small pinch of sea salt to the blender.
Blend until smooth.
Enjoy this smoothie right away or store it in the fridge for up to three days, then stir immediately before serving.
- Fresh lime works best in this smoothie. I don't recommend using bottled lime juice.
