This creamy banana smoothie (no yogurt!) recipe is easy to make and delicious. It’s perfect for a snack on the go. Give it a try if you’re looking for drinks made without yogurt, like this chocolate peanut butter cup smoothie, which is another one of my favorites.
Ingredients and Substitutions
Be sure to use a ripe banana with plenty of brown spots on the peel when making this smoothie. The riper, the sweeter.

You can use any type of unsweetened milk you like in this smoothie. I usually go with soy milk. Milk adds plenty of creaminess without having to use yogurt.
I like to flavor this smoothie with vanilla extract and cinnamon. You can omit either of those if you prefer, but I think they add a nice flavor that reminds me of banana bread.
I like to add a pinch of sea salt to balance the sweetness of this smoothie. You can omit the salt if you prefer.
