This macadamia smoothie is creamy, sweet, and delicious. Give it a try if you’re looking for nutritious drinkable breakfast or snack recipes, like this hazelnut smoothie, which is another one of my favorites.
Ingredients and Substitutions
Macadamia nuts add a rich, buttery flavor and luxurious texture to this smoothie. If you have trouble finding them at your local grocery stores, they’re widely available online.

A ripe banana adds sweetness and creaminess to this smoothie. The riper, the sweeter. You can substitute a couple of pitted dates if you prefer.
Cocoa powder gives this macadamia nut smoothie a delicious chocolate flavor. Raw cacao powder works too. Or you can substitute 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract if necessary.
I like to add a pinch of sea salt to this smoothie. You can omit the salt if you prefer.
You can use any type of unsweetened milk you like in this smoothie. I went with soy milk this time.
